Rosie and Boots' Mum
Here is an update for everyone now that I am able to post. DerThomson - I live on the other side of Wokingham so there is no way Rosie would find her way home unfortunately. She does know Heathlake very well though and if loose would probably keep returning to the car park. Have contacted Railtrack (Grim!) this morning. Spoke with Dog Lost press officer yesterday - thank you for your help. On tuesday we put flyers through some of the doors on the roads immediately off the back of Heathlake, where Wellington was found but no sightings of Rosie. I will be unavailable for a while this morning as I have to take my son to a hospital appointment so my mobile will be off. I plan to go out postering and leafletting and talking to people this afternoon. THANK YOU so much to all the people who are out there looking etc, your emails, texts, calls and posts are very much appreciated. We WILL find her!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
Chaz's mum:
Just a thought - I have met someone in the past that got a PBGV from a rescue centre which was sold as a CROSS BREED!! As this breed isnt widely known it might be a good idea to visit as many kennels/rescue centres as possible in person! Wishing you all the best. Come on Rosie - show yourself!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Wellington was found at 8.15am on Tuesday, 4th wandering down one of the cul-de-sacs off Merryman Drive which is at the back of Heathlake. Gill, the dog Warden from Reading, has more information if you need it. Thank you for all your continuing efforts!....e mail from owner. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Wish I was closer to help - I have two PBGVs and know once their heads go down for a scent they forget about their humans!!!!!! Glad one is home safe - hope Rosie is home where she belongs soon!!! I have one that runs, without looking back, once off a lead and one that makes for home!! Thoughts are with you xx Stay safe Rosie xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
