- Bex ...sorry that Ellie has not been reunited yet. Did you wamt one of the mobile numbers listed above changed to owner number below.
Regarding microchips, it is possible that Ellie was found and kept by finder and would then not have been scanned for microchip. Also, lots of vets do not scan new dogs at their vet practice. There are petitions currently trying to stop this practice but we need to wait for government action. - 2020-12-31 10:33 Bex
- there's another thing shes microchip so if found why are they not checking who they belong to.

- I know this poor baby was taken over a year ago, but an almost identical tan female staffy was found lastnight in South Wales. I can’t add a photo but search Hope Rescue Llanharren to see the post, would love if this was the dog you’ve lost!

- Met Ellie's owner. Checked boundaries and looks more than likely Ellie was taken from garden. She had strayed before and wandered a back lane for old address a few years ago but she's well known and no sightings. So theft by straying or theft really. This is this old ladies companion dog. Really sad. Ellie has a shaved patch on her back from recent drain and was on meds.
I've promised to head a bit of a campaign in bath and surrounding towns to see what we can find out 😩 I did walk the trackside and all very tight. Passing local walkers all knew about Ellie - 2017-06-30 21:22 Sharon - Social Media Volunteer

- I'm in contact with friend/neighbour to collate a few more facts and details. I have the home postcode and notice the extreme closeness to the railway line. She says the woods have been searched but I need to check boundaries and perhaps log an incident. I hope to meet real soon just on another ATM Last edited: 2017-06-30 21:06:01

- Sorry to see that ELLIE is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (116871)

- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.

- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
