Hi. I contacted a Victoria on Thursday who was looking after a friends dog that went missing on Thursday. She posted locally on Facebook and I offered to search Saturday if nothing came up. This was posted later and I offered her the details. She called sdk and retrieved the dog today (sat). No doubt another I can earmark for chipping should I complete the course Last edited: 2017-07-03 13:35:45

Patterdales are as difficult to match as black labs, often the only person able to recognisee them is their owner, even then mistakes have been made which Is why (apart from legal requirement) they really need to be chipped.

Not sure we can assume a bait dog. More likely been down a hole with critters the other end by the look of his nose
