Hi we have taken in a rescue dachshund and would love to have another. If his home doesn't work out we would love to take him in and offer him a wonderful home. We've fostered and rescued dogs for over 20 years and Dachshund's are our true love when it comes to dogsm is there anyway I can register anywhere to be contacted when a dachshund needs a home because the old one can't be found or the dog is no longer wanted? 😊

Dee - The dog will go to rescue after 7 days and be rehomed - I think Blue Cross Ipswich take some strays from that council area. Ring the council and ask - didn't you have all the jack Russell's :)

If this poor boy doesn't find his home and owners we'd be happy to take him on and spoil him rotten. How can I do this? I hope his real owners come forward though and he goes back to his own bed.

Thanks Dilly Dax. I'm Dexter's owner. We contacted kennels and sent loads of picks and Dexter's FB page. They've just come back and said not dexter. :(
They can't find a chip on this lad either. Hope he gets home. X
