- Hi, just wondering if there has been any news and if he has been stolen why there is no crime number. There is a travellers site by the old Devoran Car Sales now which has stopped us walking there which is a shame as a lovely walk but will keep looking when out walking our dogs etc. Good luck x

- Hi just a thought one of my springers went missing on a walk, along a disused railway line, sure she wasn't far retraced our steps and there she was down the bank caught by her collar on barbed wire. Would have found her sooner is she had barked, she was so close by. Good luck in your search fingers crossed x

- Had a walk with my dogs 2 days ago from the United Downs end of the valley, near the Bangor Racing side, then back towards Bissoe but sadly no sign but did mention to other walkers. Really hope there is some information soon, thinking of you xLast edited: 2017-07-20 08:11:23 by Misha

- So sorry Basil was not found. I'm sure it would have been checked but I was wondering whether Basil may have got caught up in brambles in the immediate area where he disappeared into the bush? This happened to my dog once. Luckily we found him and managed to free him. Fingers crossed he's found soon x

- So sorry for you. I live about half a mile away and know the dangers of that river. We are keeping a good look out and hope he is found very soon.
- 2017-07-08 10:53 kezza
- hi Helen, the river was checked soon after the incident and checked again the following day by a professional. known mine works close to the area were also investigated and no sign of Bazil. Still no sightings at all in what is a busy area with cyclists and dog walkers. it is possible that Bazil crossed the river so owner is expanding the search, but really need some news soon.
- 2017-07-08 08:01 Helen
- Sorry to mention this but has the river been checked? It is quite fast flowing in some areas with culverts. There have been several incidents along here involving dogs. I really hope and pray Basil is found safe and well x
- 2017-07-06 20:30 Misha
- Thanks Kezza. Spoke to a few people in Falmouth about him today as well in case they walk in that area and someone who lives in Perranwell who knows this area well and will keep a look out. I hope there are some sightings soon x
- 2017-07-06 16:18 kezza
- Misha. The dog was on his usual route and about 15 minutes from home. Think the family only moved into area 6 weeks or so ago but that had been his regular route since moving.
- 2017-07-06 15:56 Misha
- Where does this dog usually get walked? Spreading the word at Companion Care in Truro at the moment as well. Thinking of you xx
- 2017-07-06 12:08 kezza
- The sighting by the runner turned out to be a different dog, not Bazil unfortunately.

- Have had a walk along the Bissoe trail but didn't spot anything but did meet the owner's son in law out searching as well. A runner thinks he may have seen Bazil about an hour ago in the distance. Had a drive around Perranwell, Bissoe and back towards Carnon Downs but so many tracks and sighting I'm afraid. Best of luck x

- Sorry to see that BASIL is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (117110)

- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
