Just spoken to dog angel Helen.....LOL....what goes on behind scenes!....Dotty as you know from earlier posts was spotted in a field (a very large one!) Chicken wire was placed over the 5 bar gate to contain her after trap was placed......Now imagine Helen going in to retrieve trap trying to climb over a 5 bar gate when you cannot get a foot hold because of the chicken wire.....on a busy main road and getting caught balanced on the top trying to get a foothold down the otherside! Okay sorry Helen....BUM up in the air!...just waiting for a passerby to have filmed...watch out for this appearing on social media! As always our helpers go above and beyond in their efforts...some just kind of get stuck between above and beyond!!!!

I've just spoken to Dotty's very happy owner, Dotty was caught in the trap early hours of the morning, she seems fine, although her paws are sore and she will be going to the vets later for a check up.
Welcome home little girl x

I have just got back from searching for Dotty with her owner, we have seen her quite a few times but will not come any where near, she is in a relatively safe area and is looking more settled now, plans are now in place to try to catch her x

I have been in the area most of the morning and have seen Dotty, at the moment she is running scared, thankfully she is in a fairly safe area, we just need her to settle, I will be going back there later this afternoon.

Has there been any update on Dotty since this morning? I know the owners' brother saw her this morning and was waiting for the area co-ordinator, Helen. Waiting for the good news!

Update from Dotty's owner....
She is still in the same location and been seen a few times. The area is fenced off so she can't get out . Her crate, blanket and food are place in a safe place, hopefully she will settle in there for the night . People are still waiting near her crate in hope they can coax her to come to them . So keep your fingers crossed xThank

I have spoken to Dotty's owner and Dotty has been seen today and seems to have settled in an area close to where she went missing from. I have advised to leave food, water and bedding in the area in the hope that she stays and settles, also advised on how to re-act if they do see Dotty.
I will be meeting up tomorrow with the owner's brother and will be taking my trap in case it is needed at some point.
