Thank you for bumping Indy's listing. Very emotional walk of the path this morning with Indy's owner Helen and a handful of people involved in the original search for him. We would like to say thank you to everyone that continues to think of Indy and sends possible matches to us regularly to check - you have been brilliant and everything is massively appreciated xxx

Again, I'm sad to say Molliemoo's post is not Indy. Hoping for a quick reunion

INDY IN THE PRESS AGAIN:-

They have also now had a possible sighting from two different people of an elderly pale retriever at the same time on the same day time possibly within minutes of each other on Monday July 17, just three days after Indy went missing.

The sightings were between 11am and 12noon on the main Torquay Road near the Livermead Cliff Hotel.

She said: "One lady saw a pale older retriever come out of road on Torquay seafront at Cockington Lane traffic lights, run across the road and continue along the pavement up towards direction of the Livermead Cliff Hotel between.

"The other lady must have been possibly in the cars further behind as she saw a retriever on the pavement near the entrance to the hotel with a gentleman almost dragging it by collar as it refused to move or walk and had no lead. This was between 11.30am and 12noon. The dog was old and pale in colour too

The gentleman was described as well dressed, tanned, with slicked back white hair, a white shirt and beige trousers.

Anyone who can help can contact Sarah on 07877 274815.

WALK FOR INDY ON SUNDAY, 6th August 2017 at Anstey's Cove Car Park, 11.00 am - 14.00 pm.

Walk to raise awareness for Indy - please as many Golden Retrievers as can make it would be brilliant so spread the word and obviously all other breeds to are most welcome. The walk would start at Anstey's Cove Car Park doing a circiut of the grassy park area and then entering the coastal path to come out at the other end at Bishop's Walk and then walking back to the car park. Due to the nature of the terrain anyone attending is respectfully asked to keep their dog(s) on lead at ALL times - no exceptions - the safety of attendees both doggy and human is of the utmost importance.

Was the sighting on the 27th a false alarm... I was so hoping it would be positive. Was up on Ilsham Marine Drive overlooking Thatcher rock today - didn't see any posters around. Won't be going up there for a little while so won't be able to put any up myself.

Unknown
Hasl'smum - those areas have been looked at - the coastguard were even called to a possible on Thatcher's Rock the other day which i witnessed - turned out to be a disposable BBQ! They then searched yet another area of the cliff side off Bishop's Walk and found nothing sadly x

once again, thinking outside the box... if Indy did get into the sea, has anyone thought of him maybe swimming ashore on Hope's Nose, or one of the islands, Thatcher Rock, Cod Rock, etc... ? Anyone looked here?
Helen
Thank you for you suggestion, Jot cotswolds. Several groups have gone down on ropes but found nothing
Jot cotswolds
Sounds like this poor dog is still down there, stuck. Have helpers party contacted climbing groups?? Dartmoor groups? Needs people descending from above surely? View of where he is probably obscured from kayakers position. Is anyone able to contact climbing groups locally?
karen
If a bark was heard from below, on the 19th as says in comments, why are people with safety equipment not looking there. I was told today, indy was last seen on a slope and couldnt get off, slope leads to the sea. When the owner got back the dog was gone, thats only what a man told me today. i hope hes found alive and well. Been looking, nothing.
Hasi'smum
What an awful time for you. I am thinking of you all day long. Great that the kayakers, etc. are searching. Have you tried going out on the water after dark (in a good boat, of course!) with a torch/searchlight. Trying to think outside the box here... maybe his eyes would shine up like a cat's or maybe he would be startled by the light and bark at it, showing where he may be lying low...? Just a thought...
Helen
Thank you again Hasi'smum. Boaters, kayakers and paddleboarders have beenb checking the coast both in the area and either side
Hasi'smum
Just a thought - could he have swum a bit further along the coast in either direction and be a out of your search area?
Helen
Thank you for the suggestion, Hasi'smum. Kayakers, boaters and paddleboarders have already been searching and I'm sure will carry on until Indy is found. I do appreciate everybody's concern and sympathy, it's keeping me going to know that others care and are looking
Seeks
I hope so much you will get news soon. Resared & tweeted xx
Hasi'smum
Would a kayaker be able to look around the rocks? (The sea would have to be fairly calm, obviously)
Mel
Praying for Indy's safe return xxx

HAVE YOU SEEN ANYTHING at Black Head from the water, if anyone has seen a dog from their vessels, please let us know.
Location 50°28'09.5"N 3°29'25.0"W
The elderly dog has been missing since Friday and last seen at Black Head. Dog fur has been found going down the cliff. And a dog bark was heard 9.40pm last night coming from down below. Coastguard and Fire Services can't access or see from the water so a passing vessel might just be able to.
Helen
Still no news. I'm ringing round the dog warden, shelters, vets etc. again. People are still searching. A drone went out yesterday. We're hoping for climbers as well. Please remember Indy in your prayers.
Mel
Any news on Indy? Xxx
Unknown
Fire service and coastguard attended scene again this afternoon and early evening - still no sign sadly.
Hasi'smum
I've been following your search and am sending prayers and thoughts from Paignton. Hope Indy is found safe.
Unknown
Another person with a drone is in the area now with Helen the owner.
Unknown
Drone went up this morning - limited to what they could do due to the wind. Myself and Carol had another look around the area climbing up and down coves. Fire brigade in the area currently (2pm) with thermal imaging.

Update - Coast Gards performing a training operation where Indy was last seen. Fur has been found down a cliff which they are going to explore thoroughly.

After finding lots of fur sadly the Coastguard didn't find Indy. Now its too dark. I would like to thank everyone thats cone out and helped Helen in the search for Indy.

Kayley Belue We will be there in the morning with the drone. It's not a thermal imaging one but if barking was heard in a certain area that looks like it may be rocks rather than overgrowth then we can fly it around the rocks and see if we can finally find Indy and bring her home. This sounds so hopeful, I'm keeping everything crossed.

this one found a long way from you but just to rule it out!

In touch with a friend of the owner at the moment - provided standard advice sheets - there is a dog which they believe looks like INDY has been found by someone but they are struggling to get the finder to respond to them - i have also tried to make contact.
