I have just been talking to the lady who had offered Toby/Romeo a new home but unfortunately he had different ideas and escaped at every opportunity.
He will be going back to his original owner.
After spending a week living rough he was caught by a lovely lady who was patient enough to sit quietly all afternoon till he came close enough for her to catch him. Well done everyone who has helped search and looked out for him.

Went back this evening to leave food and watch from a distance and lucky enough to see Toby Romeo cross from one piece of cover to another, probably disturbed by estate worker doing his rounds.

Walked both sides of Linton Ridge this morning, no sign of Toby/Romeo anywhere. Sheep not giving away his location this time but may have just got used to him being around.

I have been told this morning that Toby has moved on from behind the pumping station over the hill towards the Abbotsbury Deanery. There are posters with contact numbers along the road.

Seen again later today and trotted away rather than bolting. Toby has come from a home where he had the run of 3 acres so is very adept at doing his own thing, food and water is there for him, everyone in the area aware and lots of posters up with contact numbers. Stay safe little boy.

Toby/Romeo has been spotted this morning running up towards the top of Linton Ridge behind the pumping station. This means to get back home he would have to cross back over the coast road.

Toby has dug his way out of the garden and was seen heading along the coast road towards Abbotsbury before going into a field. Dog warden, vets and chip company aware.
