- Presume spayed Indoor cats who escape tend to hide close by, and feel very anxious being out of the comfort zone which is indoors with people they trust; their owners. A door where she has access to, open wide, and stand aside. Dont block her entrance. Put some tuna or chicken in her dish, and place it about twice the width of the door.. Put her unwashed blanket into a clean container, aloing with your scent too. Put litter tray contents onto the garden as her scent will be there. Also empty contents of the vacuum onto the garden too. Check all outbuildings too. Wipe her scent on garden fences, gates, doors too. Put flyers through doors too. Try a squeaky toy too. Paws xd. When darkness falls use a strong torch as it will reflect a cats eyes. When looking out for her wear the same deodorant you use on a daily basis, as she will recognize the scent, as your the one she trusts.Last edited: 2017-08-01 21:24:42
