Just been told that Teddy has been seen back in Brockham a couple of hours ago, which is a big relief! Hopefully he will now stay in this area. Please continue to look out for him and report any sightings to owner asap. It is very important that noone calls him or chases him, as this could just drive him from the area again.and put him in more danger. Fingers crossed for more sightings tomorrow x

Please do not chase Teddy if sighted he is running scared and we need him to settle in one place where his confidence can be gained. If you happen to see him please make a note of where and post here or ring numbers on the link. J. x

Belle, which way was he running on Pixham when you saw him please - towards Denbie's or towards Betchworth? We know he was seen earlier on Pixham Lane at 7:30 and was then on the A24 :(
Thanks #stoppettheft, we've seen that sighting. I spoke to sighter last night. Unfortunately at the moment we don't know an area to target :(Last edited: 2017-08-06 16:35:41 by csquaredb

There is a Pixham Facebook Group (Public) - I can see that there have been sightings of Teddy. https://www.facebook.com/groups/pixhamresidentsassociation/
Is it possible for Ray Dedicote to help 'trap' Teddy ? ( i hope i've spelled your name correctly ) - especially as 'Belle' has said that Teddy is looking thinner :(

I have been in contact with sighter: I saw the dog run past my house (xx Pixham Lane) about 715 this morning as I went out on my bike. Dog was wearing a harness type lead. Can't recall colour. Dog was light brown and medium sized. I followed dog on bike trying to warn oncoming cars - he then ran towards denbies roundabout and across the roundabout and ran along central reservation, veering into both carriageways. Another cyclist and a jogger on the denbies side took up the chase and I peeled off.

I asked him re timing. Could have been 7:20, he was meeting a friend in Dorking at 7:30. I've shown him Teddy's pictures and he thinks it was him he saw. Pixham Lane joins up to the A25 near Betchworth, so it looks like he ran that way after been seen by Helen this morning.

If he has kept going north, possible sanctuaries could be Stepping Stones/ Boxhill or Denbies/Norbury ParkLast edited: 2017-08-05 20:25:26 by csquaredb

Possiblle sighting this morning, maybe around 10 as that's when comment was posted:

Spotted medium sized dog running in middle of Pixham Lane towards denies - lead dragging on floor. I tried to grab but it was spooked. It carried on towards burford roundabout dodging traffic - other people were trying to grab. Hope it ended well

Sighter has been shown picture and says looked like Teddy.Last edited: 2017-08-05 18:50:30 by csquaredb

Sighting to-date from owner:

He first went missing Thursday afternoon, he was spotted at Flanchford Bridge around 5/6pm that evening but was also spotted around Wellhouse Lane. We spoke to a cyclist at 6am Friday who saw him dash into a field at the far end of Wellhouse lane, he was spotted mid afternoon around there and also around 3pm at Old School Lane in Brockham. We saw him ourselves this morning about 7am coming off Brockham Green heading into Old School Lane but we lost him. He still has the red harness and lead attached, he was a bit slower so obviously tired and thankfully he didn't seem injured. He looked back when I called him but kept going. He hasn't been spotted again since as far as we know.

Possible sightings this afternoon at Dorking Sports Centre (although this may have been a differnt dog). Later seen running in fields on a farm in Betchworth (no details of which farm unfortunately).

IF trees and bushes around his lead could save him
If he got caught up it has happened before
