Beckyess, I have been in contact with both parties since he was registered on Doglost as stolen. Rico's whereabouts was known, this was a disagreement between them, he wasn't missing as such.
That said I have just been informed that the issue has been resolved and Rico is now back with AnnieA so am reuniting his page

The person who has Rico is trying to get him operated on so this poster needs to be sent to all local vets to ensure this doesn't happen. I am disgusted at the lack of support this lady is getting. Get this poster out there immediately so his owner can get her dog back. Absolutely disgusting I hoe you never het your dog stolen and people are that apathetic towards it.

As the dog could easily be passed on then this needs to be spread wide, lots of dogs are stolen by people who know who they are, doesn't mean this should be treated any differently.

I spoke with AnnieA last night who advises me that she knows who has Rico and where he is. There had been a disagreement between both parties over Rico and a verbal contract held between them.
AnnieA has spoken to Dorset Police under log 03-44 and crn 55170119432 as has the other party.
I would advise both to seek advice from a dog law solicitor if unable resolve the issue amicably
