Poppys owner you really really need to communicate with this site otherwise people will be reluctant to get involved, we can't operate without information, if you look at other dogs you will find that the ones with the most input generate the most output, we need to know what has or has not been done.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Can you tell us which rescue centres you regularly contact? Have you put Poppy on Battersea lost dog line? They have a form now you can fill on line. Have you spoken to the dog wardens or the dog stray dept for Canterbury Ashford Folkestone or others? I have rung the Canterbury dept recently and also spoken to Serco the people who take away animals found on the road, they say if the dog has ID they try to find the owner but did not recognize Poppys description. I have also given our postman details to put in his van, he said he had seen your posters and was keeping an eye out. When you are ringing around would you lask for a description of any other dogs that they might have had in recently so we can put it on the site? Please don't give up, please poster everywhere you go, it only needs the right person to see or hear about Poppy. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

To Poppies owner. You may want to look on Vets Surgery List in England by County on the web, Lists every vets surgery incase you want to look further afield. Any further info you can give us about what areas you've covered and who you've informed?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

It would be worth asking your local refuse collectors to keep an eye out. Maybe get posters to the depot-Other workers such as postman ( posters to main sorting office)milkman (if you have them!)etc. Local places that supply pet foods would also be a good idea. Its good you keep phoning rescues as dogs change daily. Another idea which i have found useful is to contact the local school asking if they would give handouts- and if dog is found by their efforts maybe a small reward to the school fund. pm me if you want to request flyers which are smaller for handouts.. Thanks Yasa. I am now in contact with Poppys owner. I have just spoken to her and she is just about to visit Lord Whisky Animal Sanctuary, Rhodes Minnis, no other news of any kind yet. I have asked her to keep us all posted about anything that's going on. She said she has had problems logging in and I must say so have I.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Any more info yet, I am postering quite locally. do we know where in Lyminge Poppy went from? I can poster further afield but don't know who has been contacted. Have you let Shepway Dog warden know? The number is 01303 850388, although there seems to be other services answering the phone for him at the moment.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
