- Please keep checking on 'Lost & Found Yorkshire Terriers in the UK' on Facebook as there are quite a few 'found' dogs at the moment.

- that's a fab idea Gaynor - Yes, an article rather than an 'ad' as they areo often very small & not as noticeable .
I DID Tweet to the Sentinel when Tess 1st 'disappeared' x
Radio Stoke too . - 2017-08-30 10:07 Gaynor
- I think it would really help if the owners were to place an ad in the Sentinel, and given the mysterious circumstances of Tess's disappearance with no further sightings, ask them if they'd do a short article on her. Lots of people still don't use social media and wouldn't find any posts on Tess unless they were browsing lost pets pages etc (which the average person doesn't) or were shared by a friend. I've spoken in the last 24 hours to three people who live very locally and none of them knew there was a lost dog. I'm only a couple of miles away and only know myself because I get DogLost alerts, I've seen no posters in the town or in shops I've visited? Someone may well know who has her but not have a clue that she belongs to someone else.

- A crime ref number has now been issued by Staffordshire Police who now consider Tess as stolen, status changed to stolen & CRN detail added x
- 2017-08-24 22:25 Gaynor
- That's awful. Where Tess was taken from is a very busy residential area on the outskirts of town. It would definitely have been someone from the fairly immediate area who took her and someone must be aware that a neighbour/relation has acquired a new dog. I haven't seen any local adverts or publicity, this would surely help to track her down.
