Quick update as to the well-being of kiara. She is all naked now - she has been shaven at the groomers by the owners she is fit and well. The other dog is booked for microchipping also so that’s great news to.
Marbie
Wonderful news that both dogs have found their people. I think there are going to be a lot of very happy dogs, owners and finder here. Well done to all involved xx
Gellie
and I would like to add that Peter (the finder) just phoned me now to say they have found the owner of the other dog and that too is reunited! What a wonderful start to a week! Lets hope it continues x

How good to hear this wonderful news, Kelly. Hoping for a speedy recovery for Kiara. Please do let us know how she is getting on.

Great news! It's so lovely when a stolen or missing dog eventually turns up but what heartbreak the owners must suffer during the wait. I'm so happy for Kiara being reunited with her family after more than a year. x

Peter’s shared post on fb:

Today we made a Christmas miracle for a lovely family in london who had there dog stolen in August 2017 we found her digging threw our bins in wales yesterday morning, we found the owner and they have just driven straight 6hours to wales from London to collect there beloved dog. Microchips work people. Miracles do happen. Photo says it all.

Daryl whose son Peter FOUND KIARA posted this news on my fb page. I was in touch with him and so pleased they made it public with the fab REUNITED pic. WELL DONE to Peter.

They are going to rehome the JRT Cross found with KIARA.

This is the post Dayl posted the other day:

Just wanted to share a wonderful piece of fortune. My eldest lad moved to North Wales to escape the scrotes and thieves from around where he lived. He was met at his motorcycle last night by two little dogs, a pommy and a chihau/russel cross.
He took them in an bathed them making them both pretty again. This afternoon the local folk have been round to chip check and GREAT news. The pommy was STOLEN from LONDON in August 2017. The owners are absolutely elated and are ON THEIR WAY to collect, North Wales from London centre.
The cross unfortunately isn't chipped but my lad has stated that the house that had these dogs (now empty) had the cross from a pup according to neighbours

Wow! This is brilliant. Look forward to the update.

Gellie, can I ask if you are also on Facebook?
Gellie
hello I am a pet angel volunteer scanner and today I was tagged in a post about 2 dogs that had been found. I spoke to the finder and went over to their house this afternoon, and the Pom was chipped and reg with Petlog. I contacted Petlog gave details and the next call was from the owner. The dog is Kira!! I sent Anntoinette 2 photo's as per request, her husband is on his way to collect Kira. She was found in Bangor North wales. I am sure the owner will update when they are reunited. Kelly - you should not dismiss the Ireland dog it the dog looks like Kiara - lots of missing / stolen dogs are taken overseas to Ireland.
DogLostNina
Kelly dogs can be trafficked more miles than you can ever imagine don't let the miles put you off from looking
Kelly
Thanks for the link scattycat69, but I don't think that is her. Kiara was lost in London and that dog is in Ireland.

Could this be Kiarahttps://www.facebook.com/ahar.ie/photos/pcb.1891898184163199/1891898087496542/?type=3&theater
Viv B
Is Kiara still missing with no sightings, have you reported to the police as possibly stolen?
Viv B
Is there any news, any sightings, Kelly?
Viv B
I did drive round the area again on Tuesday afternoon, and no sightings unfortunately. Could she be hiding in the park? Quite recently a dog was missing, then turned up in a differebt park and it took a few days to capture. You have probably already contacted dog wardens, vets, rescues and chip company to flag her missing.
Kelly
Hi Viv! I did deliver flyers through all of the surrounding streets. The builder's doing work at the house left the front door open for a second and she must have run out.
Viv B
Did Kiara escape from the house? Are you able to poster some more and/or deliver some flyers to houses in surrounding roads. I can have another look today, let me know if you need help.
Kelly
Thank you so much Viv, really appreciate all your help. No news yet :(
Viv B
I have had another drive around this afternoon today - roads surrounding the Gladstone Park. Saw your poster at the park entrance and placed another in one of the roads leading off. Hope she turns up soon.
Shelagh
Sent email with advice to owner. Shared local fbook groups
Viv B
Have you put any posters up.
Kelly
Thank you, I really appreciate that. I can only think that she would go to the nearby park-Gladstone Park.
Viv B
No, not seen,Kelly. - Im in NW9 but will look when I am driving around. Any idea where Kiara might head to?
Kelly
The full post code in London is NW2 7RX. Have you seen her?
