Apparently he had been sold on Gumtree in Aug and escaped yesterday and was picked up, scanned and now back home.

Rico has been found after 2.5 months and now back home.

Ask Doglost for help with the police, if he was seen there is evidence he was stolen

I have contacted the police but they said he is not stolen just a lost dog and to report him to local dog warden. The police have been no help at all but will try again tomorrow. X

Vickyw If Rocco has been stolen you need to obtain a crime reference number (CRN) from the police. Send this to stolen@doglost.co.uk then this page can be updated to Stolen.

Hi yes I have contacted the local vets but nothing as of yet. He has a lost dog alert on his chip from petlog so if he gets scanned anywhere it will alert them that he is lost x
