Sukimax, thank you so much for that link. Twiggy's mum has tried to post on here, but unfortunately has not come out. The match was thought to be very close indeed, and Twiggy's mum did ring the kennels straight away. However on much thought and discussion, and laying he photos out side by side etc, co-ordinators and Twiggy's family felt it was not the same dog. The one in kennels was slightly larger and no chip could be found. The little one has now been re-homed, but thank you so very much for sending the link sukimax. If ever we do not pick up on the matches you post sukimax, please email admin@doglost.co.uk as we would hate to miss one. Thanks again !  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Twiggy's mum's post has not come out, but I think she probably wanted to hank you very much for the link. It was a very very close match, but owners felt the rescue dog was larger and also she had been checked and no chip. The little one on the site has now been re-homed, but thank you very very much for sending the link xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

There was a piece on the BBC Anglia News tonight about the dogs dumped in the woods, and the PACT owner was telling people about them.  Help is needed to try and catch them.  It would be wonderful if one is Twiggy and she is safely caught.  Not sure if anyone has a trap in that area?  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Twiggy's Mum thanks for letting us know.  How strange for this to happen on nearly the anniversary of Twiggy going missing.  Fingers crossed these dogs are caught soon.  The dog that is in your garden do not try to catch him, leave the food and try to get gain his trust.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Bizzarely, 14 terriers have been dumped in the woods where Twiggy went missing last Christmas Eve, some got run over which was horrid, some  have been taken to the dog warden and one that looks like a Norfolk Terrier chap is living in my garden. Trying to catch him, but we are feeding him and in contact with PACT.

If you can get Twiggy into the press, she gets moved to the top, and you have a whole lot of new publicity. I would work on this, and have your posters ready to do a new big PUSH ! Someone knows where Twiggy is. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Twiggy's owner. It may be that someone WANTS Twiggy to be old news. Wherever the posters have been removed, replace them, and put up more. If someone has her, they may not want her to be found. You have got to keep finding more places to poster also, and to make her too hot to handle. Replace, and multiply, until you get her back. Use your handouts to put through every single house, shop, and business in the village, and give them out at every occasion and gathering. Ie markets, boot sales, chrch services, school gates, sports events, anything you can think of. Someone knows something I'm sure. Good Luck. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry Twiggy has not bben found yet. Owner, with the weekend coming up, people will be out and about. Make sure you poster any markets, boot sales, supermarkets, football matches or training sessions, church's, recycling centres, fast food shops, animal feed shops, garages, sportscentres, dog walking areas etc. You feel that Twiggy may have been picked up so you really must get those posters out and make her too hot to handle. Posters are the key, and absolutely the best way to get her back. And dont forget to keep checking with police, vets, DW's and rescue centres. Rescue centres should be visited in person as dogs can be described differently, or as a different breed. Good luck. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Twiggy is rather russet coloured, Slightly rough haired a real mix, but brownish in appearance,, White beard and upright ears which are blackish, tail docked. She is very small for a Jack Russell, not to type, but has a heart shaped face and is very sweet natured. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The picture makes her look tan coloured, can you describe her in more detail i.e. where is the white on her, and how small is she? Also any other distinguishing features such as ear or tail carriage. You see so many dogs out and about, we need to know how to recognise her.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Twiggy went from near our house, which is on the edge of Newton Flotman, 7 or so miles south of Norwich on the way to Long Stratton, thanks for offers of help, please keep your eyes and ears open for Twiggy she is very small, unusual and incredibly friendly, we think she must have got in a car, we have searched the area thoroughly. she likes to wrap herself round peoples necks, my husband used to mow the lawn with her round his neck, she loves being picked up. Shivers if at all cold and would do a very good lost impression Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
