So pleased, I just checked on-line before heading out with the hand-out flyers I've made and great news she's reunited :)

Hester is FOUND! I picked her up at King Alfred's Tower at 9.30 on Sunday. She's very muddy and has a couple of torn foot pads but seems ok otherwise. She's had some food and is fast asleep in front of the fire.

Thank you all for your help!
Lucy H
There is a possibility that she ran towards King Alfred's Tower, near Stourhead. Please keep an eye out, she will be very hungry by now, and probably terrified.

Fingers crossed she is home soon

No joy in the Kilmington area this morning. Posters are up at likely spots - Stourhead, Alfred's Tower etc - and we did a short search at Gare Hill woods. Please, local people, check your barns and outhouses for her. We're desperately worried. She's never run off before. Last edited: 2017-08-19 13:33:50 by Lucy H

I've let friends in Kilmington know that Hester is lost.

Great that you have left something where she last saw you.

My advice is poster like mad, see if you can put one up at the Club in Kilmington, drop one in the Martin's removals and poster the way home.

Good Luck
Lucy H
Hester is still missing. We've just taken a bed and some food to the spot she ran off from, and will be going back later this morning to search again.

Have the owners contacted the Gliding Club at Kingston Deverill? They could help if they're flying tomorrow, weather depending.
