Thank you all we are very happy to say SHE IS HOME, an awful 4 days that we would not want anyone to go through, i would urge anyone who owns an animal to make sure that thier dog is housed safley when there are fireworks, avoiding the hell that we and our baby went through. Baby was found by a man walking his dog, she was in a drainage hole and would still be there if it wasn't for this kind man who would not take any reward for finding her, she is ok, the pads of her feet were worn away so needed seeing to and she was a little lighter, very unsure, but after a visit to the vet a few injections, food and TLC shes great. Once again thanks you have restored my faith in humans again, there are people that care.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

How awful for this poor little girl to have been stuck for so long and what a miracle that someone found her before it was too late! Well done to the finder and their dog!! Welcome home Baby xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
Millie's Mum
So pleased that you are now at home and safe with your family. Woman in car took you, what happened there, for you to end up in a drainage hole. If only you could talk. Ask your Mum to get you chipped, not that it would have helped in this situation. Stay safe now Baby.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoken to owner looks like she has fallen into a riverbank and walked through drainage system and was found 500 yards from where she went missing. A man was walking with his dog this morning and his dog found her in a drainage hole. Through a poster he contacted the delighted owners at 10.45 this morning. She has been in the drain since New Year's eve and would never have been found if not for the walkers. When the finder contacted them there was tears on both sides. She has been the vets and checked over...... What a fantastic reunion and well done to the finder and his dog (you are a hero) I was crying with emotion when the owners told me her story, just the thought of this little girl stuck in a drainage hole. They will be staying on DL as helpers and would like to thank everyone. As soon as they can they will post themselves. Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

A very lucky Baby was found today by another dog-she had fallen in the river and managed to scramble out into a culvert where she was stuck for the last 3 nights-last night it was -4 degrees! The woman stopping her car must have been for another reason-Baby is very happy to be back home.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
