just to let you all know at dog lost that we have been reunited with bud, a man had picked him up on the 2/1/08 outside the coop in south kirkby he kindly took bud in to his home and rung around the local vets. we received a call at 11.55am to say they had received a call regarding a lost staffordshire bull terrier and they took him to bartum veterinary centre in south elmsall. i want to say a big thankyou to everyone at dog lost for all your help and most of all support. you have helped us stay positive these last few days. thankyou very much.....e mail from owner Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Am down in Kent for few days but managed to speak to Buds owners on Friday night before i left. Postering is very important as i agree with TracyB that he may well have been taken in locally and owners need to raise as much public awareness about Bud as possible. When I get home I will be able to do some postering. I understood from the owners that Buds petlog details had now been ammended which is good Pam xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoke to owners this am but only just got back in to be able to post. Bud is smaller for a staffy & extremely friendly-loves children. He's gone missing from nr where my friends live & have notified them again as to how close he is. He has disappeared before & been found. Owner is contacting Petlog to update chip info to correct address but Bud does nt have a collar on. I've notified Petshops & friends around Hemsworth. Owner thinks he may have been taken in, they have printed the flyers & got lots of laminated posters that they were distributing today. I will be able to do more tomorrow & pass leaflets to mum for local post office. There is a lot of open land around the area & woods, depending in which way he has gone IF he's not been picked up & currently sitting on some ones sofa. It's not a big built up area. Owners children & other dogs are pining so any help would be appreicated.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owner needs to check with Mount Pleasant kennels (01302 722748) , Springfield kennels ( 01924 271028)and also Cliffe kennels (01226 762391) at Hoylanswaine in case he has strayed over the border. Marina kennels at Huddersfield should be checked too as I know of a dog that was picked up in South Kirby and taken to Marina Kennels. Stay safe and come home soon little Bud xxx Pam Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

will print posters out & get flyers tomorrow as too late tonight. If possible can anyone poster S Elmsall Market? Lot of open land around here. Local Council Recycling Yard at top nr Robin Hood, will take poster's down there on Sat & got frinds that live nr Coop, they are dog owners as well & used to getting call from me late at night. May be worth postering Owl Wood as well. Dearne Fm-01226 204040. They are good in doing announcements.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
