- There have been dogs all over the area trying to help find her over the last four days so a tracker dog would not work now. Yes there have been search parties out all the time - some trying at night too - and using thermal imaging equipment to try and pick up a trace of her.
Her owner and family have not given up and will keep searching. - 2017-09-18 12:25 Unknown
- Could it be possible for a Tracker dog to help here? if someone knows of one in or near the area? Or./and a search party set up?Last edited: 2017-09-18 12:28:07

- Many thanks for all your kind thoughts and help.
Sadly there still has been no sign of her even when we were lucky enough to have a drone pilot come up and check the area she was last seen in.
Once again...thank you everyone.

- H there, the thought of your dg lost on the hill really concerne me so after dinner tonight I went up to Glen Dye hoping to find her. It was already dark by the time we got there but I drove up to the Bothy wher eteh Brocky burn runs down to the Water of Dye. I checked around the bothy and called on her for a bit but no sign in or out I'm afraid. I drove part way back on this higher road towards Glen Dye estate before returning along the river to the bridge. :-(
On the way home I decided to take a run up the forest road from the Old Military Road up as far as the locked iron gate on the approach to Clachnaben from the North east side. I waited and called for a bit by the gate but sadly no sign of her there.
The two black labs in the back of the truck were wondering what was going on I think, but I could sense they almost knew that something was up with a fellow dog.
Fingers crossed that you have good news soon. GN

You could also consider posting to Fubar News Lost and Found Pets page - I have tried to share to the page before but they do not accept shared links so you may wish to post direct. The page has a good following as far as I am aware.

- Thank you for the offer. I am sure we could arrange for you to get a lift out to the area as it is a fair distance in. Could you email me your contact details so you could sort something out? My email is audreydykes@btinternet.com.
The approximate grid ref, for info, is NO538853 which is north west of Battock summit. - 2017-09-16 13:44 joannaforbes

- Sorry to see that MEGAN is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (119955)
