I'm a Somers Town local who often walks her dog along the canal. Hi! Congratulations on getting your dog back, when mine went missing he was handed into a the beaumont vets by a kindly person. Looks like NW1 is the place for friendly dog lovers. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Welcome Home Tilly. I have a dark coloured dog & buy the keyring torches off Ebay for his collar. So far this year I've bought 30- all the local dogs are now wearing them too. He also wears two tags one saying he's chipped, the other with our mobile numbers on- again really cheap off Ebay.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

She's back home now safe and sound. Many thanks to everyone for your help. She ran up some stairs at the side of the canal, which I didn't notice in the dark which is why I couldn't find her along the towpath (by the time I checked the top of the stairs, I guess she had already been found). She was picked up by a friendly passer by (thanks Lynette) and had 5 star treatment in a nearby pub (thanks to The Constitution). She was then taken to Kentish Town police station where I picked her up about 10 minutes later.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
