- 18 september lost = this is amazing and a wonderful happy ending. thanks to so many kind caring people. how on earth does a family pet dog stay alive 20 days............ good job percy is white - so much easier to spot in a brown ploughed field.

- Have just spoken to max...What a lady! So proud of doglost co-ordinators and helpers!
Max went over and set the trap then as she got down a very hard to navigate lane the farmer called to say he had just spotted Percy....Max turned around and waded over 2 fields of just ploughed land (not an easy task) and percy was curled up shivering and dehydrated...Farmer and Max wrapped percy in a blanket and carried him back to her car and she took him to the vets....Percy is staying in the vets over the weekend as conjunctivitus, covered in Burrs, cold and dehydrated.....Percy would not have lasted another night out....WELL DONE MAX! - 2017-10-07 18:25 Georgy Porgy
- Well done lovely people!

- He has been sighted again this evening, so he may now be hungry enough to look for food. He is apparently looking very well. Trap will be set tomorrow & have people willing to check it.

- How awful this is. Couldn't one of family return to help search? What about using Missing Pet Detectives if no one able to assist. Poor little thing🙁
- 2017-10-05 16:40 Max - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
- Is there anyone who could assist please?. Percy has been sighted again today. I intend to come over on Saturday & set a trap to try & catch him ( however I am not local & owners live in Merseyside). I would need some volunteers to meet with me (on Saturday), so I could show how trap works, so that it can be checked every few hours or so & any wild critters released. This is the only way we are going to catch this little dog. Please pm me if you can help (on fb Maxine Young). Thank you

- From a lady on St Merryn park fb page.....I have seen a dog that looks like this yesterday and my husband spotted the same dog today trotting down the lane opposite Atlantic bay holiday park, behind the St. Merryn holiday park. My husband went to try and at least take a photo of the dog, but it bolted. The dog looks like a poodle and has a blue collar, we would not say that it looked elderly, but no owner in sight and definitely seems like a stray or lost dog.
I have asked if she would be able to set up a feeding station. - 2017-10-01 17:24 Max - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
- There is a strong possibility that Percy was sighted on Friday evening, running into the lane opposite Atlantic Bays Holiday park. A lady reported seeing a dog, which looked like him, wearing a turquoise collar. I have confirmed now with owner, that he was wearing one as described.

- Have now postered a wide area around St Merryn. Holiday parks/farms/industrial units/postman/delivery driver/petrol station at Padstow (came across a nice man who worked there & took one from me to display) Sadly no sightings of Percy.
Across from St Merryn Holiday Park (towards Seagull camp site) there are numerous old airfield buildings, most quite dilapidated) did find a couple of business's in there who took posters.
Hopefully if he is sighted, they know who to ring - 2017-09-24 09:37 Max - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
- Have contacted Radio Cornwall & asked for a shout out on their gardening programme this morning, as it has a big following.
I have some posters ready to go over there & to meet with a drone guy to do a search, but it may be tomorrow now, as weather not good at moment. Drizzle/mist - 2017-09-23 15:53 Max - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland

- Apparently sighted today about 4pm in a cabbage field near to Atlantic Bays holiday Park (owners daughter didn't find out until 2 hours after). Have given further scenting advice & advised to get more posters up.

- Shared to St Merryn fb page. Also Farmers Arms page - both as visitor posts with message sent asking to share.
Also advised owner to join and post to Drone SAR For Lost Dogs UK as there is a pilot based nearby who will also be able to advise on any restrictions, as close to Newquay Airport.Last edited: 2017-09-20 13:17:52 by GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland - 2017-09-19 22:42 Sharon - Social Media Volunteer
