Hi Have we had any sightings or information about her. When we lost Bumble ( our beloved Rottie ) last year we eventually tracked her down through an advert in the Staffordshire Newsletter. Might be worth placing an advert and we had posters everywhere and they definately worked. The local kennels which house stray or found dogs is Swanpit kennels in Gnosall, they too are extremely helpful . Good Luck, and never give up Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sec of the N Staffs hunt is T Gregory Esq tg@bowcockpursaill.co.uk and tel: 01782 511684. He will be able to email details out to the Hunt Supporters Club and to the Hunt members. I doubt any hunt follower would have stolen a dog tho one may have picked up a dog who wouldn't leave off following, to make sure it was safe. There are several hunts listed for Staffs, go to the website of the MFH Association, click on 'find a hunt' and then click on Staffordshire in the down menu. The Hunt details will come up, and you click on each for contact detailsLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry to hear about your dog. We have just been reunited with ours after he ran away (6 days later) the one thing that really works is to poster everywhere, it is hard and emotional but it certainly does produce results. Good Luck - DebbieLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Sorry to hear of your missing dog I know whats its like and I also live in an isolated rural area and had similar concerns. My advise would be to get in touch with your local hunt secretary or master and see if they saw your dog on the day of the hunt. I think your local hunt would be the North Staffs and the only contact I can give you is Margret Stokes who runs the North Staffs pony club. She should be able to give you the hunts contacts. Her number is 01785 850707. I am sure they will do all they can to help. In the past my labrador has jumped our garden wall to follow the hunt and they have turned round and returned her. If you have gamekeepers in your area they too are worth contacting. Good luck and I hope she returns home very soon. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoke to the owner today. Thinks she was stolen. Lives in fairly isolated place and on Boxing Day the hunt was passing through along with lots of strangers and followers. Thinks she could have jumped into a car as she's very friendly. Could be anywhere.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
