- Have spoken to Pearls Mum. Pearl was picked up from Preston RSPCA and she has been CHIPPED before leaving the kennels. Where Pearl has ended up is out the area of where she was lost and shows the importance of checking kennels and DW's further a field and bordering areas. A big thank you to the finder for contacting owner and taking Pearl to the vets etc. Pearls Mum glad you are now staying on as a helper. Do not forget the reunited photo and give Pearl an extra hug from everyone on DL. Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Finder handed the found dog into vet on 28th Dec. Owner has spoken to the vet, due to the Christmas period she was kept there for five days before being handed to the DW. Owner will be ringing DW first thing in the morning to find out where she has been taken. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Telephone call from owner, they have had a phonecall tonight from someone who found a dog fitting Pearl's description in the right area she went missing. They took her to a vet who has passed her onto Preston DW. Owner has left a message left for DW, I've suggested they contact finder for more details on when they picked Pearl up and the name of the vets. Waiting game now until tomorrow. Fingers crossed it is Pearl. Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Thanks debnmark and matherick, Ive been helping owner setting up another email account and with registering on DL (having problems with their own email account). Photos have been sent by mobile but still waiting to receive them. Pearl has gone missing in the area of Balderstone about a half an hour drive from her home in Barnoldswick (BB18). She ran off while on a walk and does not know the area. DW for the area has been notified, Police, local vets and council who said they would notify the Rangers. Owner has put some posters up in the area. Pearl is all black with a few strands of white on her chest and a docked tail. Someone may have picked her up. When owners account is activated they can leave an update. Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
