Stay safe now Kipper. Missing once is bad enough, but twice!!! What can I say? Just pleased that you have been found unharmed. Have now notified all Lab Rescues AGAIN.

Im glad these two are back.....but, maybe if the local authorities used and enforced the current laws on stray dogs, specifically repeat strayers, the owners would be a little more careful about tagging and letting their dogs roam!

Oh! Dear not again, owner must be very red faced but young labs can be very headstrong (particulary Choc Labs) they love everyone and will follow everything and anyone. Hope this loveable pair are soon found ,THANKS Millie's Mum you are a STAR!

Well done Millies Mum got to say that not all DW are the same and some do more then others that goes across the board in all walks of life, and some DW do it for the love of animals and other well it is just a job. Well done to Lab rescue for matching them up, also another lesson is that the more people get there dog chip and tag then they may well have been home sooner. and to keep the tag on at all times with there collier just in case they get out. So I'm hoping that they have now got both chip and a tag. Welcome home you two.

Brilliant work by Millie's Mum and Lab Rescue. Yes it cannot be stressed enough to go further a field when searching and contacting DW's out the area where they have gone missing. Pearl recently reunited Patterdale ended in a kennels where her owner would not have thought of contacting because of the distance. Jet and Kipper's owners are so lucky to get them back. I have just received another email from Lab Rescue. It would appear that Jet and Kipper were picked up by the Dorset Dog Warden on the borders of Somerset/Dorset and he or she didn't contact the Somerset DW. If they can't comunicate there's not a lot of hope is there? These dogs were reported missing to the police and Somerset DW when they first went missing. The worrying thing is, that Lab Rescue was asked to rehome them. Is this a lesson for us all, to contact DW's over a wider area.

Big Pat on the Back Millies mum, as you say this could have been a very different outcome. It is fab that both dogs have been found & how they got to Dorset is a mystery. Hope owners takes advice to tag & chip-would hope that kennels didn't release them without but it is great that they 've been safe & together since going missing

Firstly, a big THANK TOU to LABRADOR RESCUE. I received an email this morning from Labrador Rescue, telling me that 2 dogs matching the description of these two were in their kennels in Dorset. We don't know how they got to Dorset. They had been picked up a week ago and taken to std kennels. Two days ago Labrador rescue were asked to take the dogs for rehoming. Fortunately I had sent Lab Rescue their posters, the descriptions were matched to them. Labrador Rescue contacted owners. They are now safely back with their owners. I have just spoken to the owner and stressed to her the importance of getting these two chipped. How different this story could have been without the Doglost posters. Stay safe now Kipper and I do hope that you get that very important chip. xxx

I hope Kipper is home soon. I thought Crewkerne was in south Somerset (but close to both devon and dorset borders)? I will be at St Giles (holding kennels for Somerset) tomorrow so we look out for them there. Come home soon both of you. Julie
