- We saw this dog being chased by about 10 or so people yesterday when we were at the school. I will print posters off. Can I just say, if trying to catch a dog, do not run at it. Sit down on the ground, if you feel safe doing so and look away from the dog, give it time and sit sideways on to it. If you have some very strong smelling food, place it on the ground near you to tempt it nearer. Do not make any sudden moves. Keep eye contact to a minimum, or not at all. It could take a long time to get Zuma, or any stray dog, to come near to you, but trying to "round it up" (all done in good faith) might not be helpful as it makes the dog nervous. I will print some posters off and take them with me to the area today. I do hope he is found soon x
