Lola seen in Gallowtrees Common, alas we didn’t catch her but best info is she headed towards Chiltern Edge School and Sonning Common. Many thanks to all who have been spies and come out to help. I’ll keep you posted.Last edited: 2017-10-04 16:31:05 by Observant Citizen - 2017-10-04 08:03 Lisa P - Regional Co-ordinator, Central

- Noticed Lola's owner has advised postcode is RG4 not RG8 - any reason this hasn't been updated? Don't want to update if there's a reason x

- Just been round Neals Farm, Borocourt/ Wyfold court woods. Called in on RDA to let them know about Lola. A lovely dog walker sent me an invitation to join Nextdoor which would be a good place to add her details. My postcode puts me outside the optimum area but areas covering Peppard Common, Gallowstree, Cane End and Goring Heath would be good if anyone can do that. You need to live in that postcode. Have also told one local postman, who was not aware.Last edited: 2017-10-02 12:43:38 by BorderCol

- Mapledurham estate office would be another one to contact, in case she has crossed the big road and headed towards home.
- 2017-10-01 18:57 BorderCol
- Also posters at every key entry point to the woods around Hook End, Kipping Hill, Collins End etc
- 2017-10-01 18:55 BorderCol
- Think you have a good list there already Shereen. A few more thoughts:
Black Horse Pub and Livery stables
Checkendon Equestrian Centre
Mapledurham Livery Stables
( horse riders cover a wide area from a higher vantage point if you can get posters where owners/ riders will see at the stables)
Langtree school
Woodcote Primary school
Checkendon Primary school
Van alloys industrial estate in Stoke Row.
(One well placed poster at each of these will mean many pairs of eyes looking out for Lola)
Has owner tried sitting at original parking place with engine running? Dogs recognise their own car sound and on a quiet evening like this Lola could hear it from several miles away. It may take her a while to travel back to it though so might be a long wait).Last edited: 2017-10-01 18:59:58 by BorderCol - 2017-10-01 18:26 Alecdes
- Correct postcode is RG4 9HR
- 2017-10-01 16:36 Shereen
- Jayelle...Can you add to this?...Will be back online later.
- 2017-10-01 16:32 Shereen
- Places to poster...(Or email poster to)
The Reformation Pub
The Cherry tree Pub
The Highwayman Pub
Riding For the disabled (Wyfold)
The Unicorn pub Peppard
GORING HEATH AREA
Hook End Mannor (Recording Studios)
Stoke Row Primary School
Chiltern Edge School
Checkendon Primary School
Kidmore end Primary School
Melvin Stafford Vets (Sonning Common)
Henley Veterinary centre
Loads of posters needed up around the area....We have people who cn help put them up ,but they are key for sightings being called in as this is extensive woodland ...Lots of walkers at the weekends.

- Hi Jayelle and I have been out searching...The family was parked up on a layby at Park Lane...so just after the Weekend Warriors Air soft place...There is a poster on the tree where they were parked.More posters are going out and our local PCSO now has a picture of Lola and has Recommended a report is called in to 101.Lola was frightend by the hunt passing through. There was a possible sighting of her yesterday afternoon by a local dog walker.

- Thanks Jayne, alert now received.
Is owner able to pinpoint where Lola last seen and also where the walk began please? Area large and varied , many possible points at which owner may have parked to begin walk. Coat also looks as though it would entangle in brambles, there are lots in the area. - 2017-10-01 09:01 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
- Postcode corrected to RG8. Alerts sent to helpers in RG4,8,9. OX10.

- Fitzgerald please can you confirm area Lola is lost in. Thanks
- 2017-10-01 07:54 BorderCol
- I think the postcode is wrong. I live in RG9 and Kipping Hill is 2 miles or less from me. Wyfold is a better descriptor than Checkendon. Oxon not Berks.
Also I have not received an alert.Last edited: 2017-10-01 07:55:07 by BorderCol - 2017-09-30 21:09 Sarah - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambs Twitter Co-ordinator
