- Phone call this morning to say Macey was found by a man. She was bleeding from her mouth and she stopped breathing in his arms. She was found near to Tesco so had probably been hiding out there somewhere. Had no reported sightings for past 2-3 weeks despite that area being flooded with posters.
Thank you for your help. - 2017-10-29 15:09 Ravenette - Area Co-ordinator - West Sussex
- No updates that I know of unfortunately. Wherever you are Macey stay safe x
- 2017-10-24 13:30 DoggiesnMoggies
- Are there any updates on this girl please? I wish I could be more helpful

- It does seem that she is travelling between the two areas. Hopefully, there will be more sightings and we will know where to concentrate x

- Macey was definitely spotted by a lady this morning playing with children in Del Quay near the crown and anchor pub. She is still wearing her collar so lady thought owner was close by. She then saw the missing dog poster and rang to say she’d been seen . Anyone near there able to help with a search? Wonder if she is using the pathway and fields from fishbourne to del quay staying close to the water. Seems to go back to this area if sightings are right.

- Have the owners spoken to anyone experienced in getting dogs back? E.g. K9 tracker. Evidently the dogs go in a triangle so if you plotted the sightings on a map this would seen. A dog trap probably is now needed to get her back asap. There is a lot of advice out there which could be helpful. Hope she's back safe real soon x

- Have just received a call from a woman who said she is sure she saw Macey in Nutbourne yesterday. She tried to catch her but she went off across Broad Road into fields heading west towards priors leaze lane, and Southbourne. The woman said she has seen the posters in a bus stop and is sure it was Macey.

- I have been out and about in the area both on Tuesday and today (Saturday) Have spoken with my family once again they had seen posters anyway and I text the owner but nothing as yet. - Macey was sighted on Monday in the Fishbourne area again ... it does seem as if she is staying in this particular area. Her owner is doing all she can to get her safely back home. DoggiesnMoggies and Amy - thank you so much for your kind offers to help. Thank you so much for the support Jenkins it's much appreciated x

- DoggiesnMoggies - thanks for joining to help with Macey. You can use the contact numbers listed above to speak with the owners which I am sure they will greatly appreciate. The more the merrier. Searching for lost dogs is a daunting task and very hard work especially with postering. The Area Co-ordinators, are volunteers and most also have full-time jobs, so I am sure Ravenette will also appreciate your help.

- Hi Amy I am new to this so maybe someone could please answer the question as to whether we ask the owner via telephone or do we go via the Area Coordinator Ravenette by look of it? I feel the owner maybe out looking or postering not sure as I live in Duncton Area it was just that I have family in Fishbourne and surrounding area that I joined.
Sorry maybe someone could guide the way here as to what we can do?
Thank you hoping Macey is safe - 2017-10-09 14:31 Amy
- Has Macey's owner considered using k9tracker? A lady and her trained beagle track lost dogs; might be good in this case as it seems Macey has been spotted a couple of times. We live in the area and are keeping a lookout for Macey and spreading the word. She must be very frightened and hungry now. Hoping that she is found very soon.

- I will bump Macey to the top due to sighting. It's good to have another sighting and hopefully she will stay in the area which will lead to more sightings. It's a big area though, I will call some local contacts and let them know to keep a look out x

- Just had news of a possible sighting a day ago nr dell quay nr fishbourne...not too far from last sivhting a week ago. Lots of posters out in the area and all vets and uni etc
- 2017-10-05 11:29 Ravenette - Area Co-ordinator - West Sussex
- Have you put posters up all around the area and contacted the office at Chi Uni and the Cathedral. I know it means crossing roads but it's possible she could have got on to the Centurion Way and maybe the woods off Brandy Hole Lane. Viv McGrath Chi Dog Warden is very helpful please call her 01243 785166 x
- 2017-10-05 08:53 Lynzilu
- The direction she ran off in will have taken her into completely unfamiliar territory.
- 2017-10-05 08:50 Lynzilu
- The walk was not very familiar to her but just around the corner to where she was staying as she was staying with family not in her own home area. She ran off towards the house she was staying in but think she had lost her scent as it was pouring with rain when she bolted. She was seen running down the road and spotted a couple more times before disappearing into uni grounds. She was possibly sighted once on other side of town at almost midnight and nothing since then.
- 2017-10-04 09:40 Ratel
- Is the walk familiar to her and how far away from home is it? Sorry to question but it all helps to build up a picture and then a plan.
- 2017-10-04 09:07 Lynzilu
- She was being walked.
- 2017-10-04 09:04 Ratel
- Is she missing from home or was she being walked?

- Sorry to see that MACEY is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (120522)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
