- Luci. You could give the child's number to the police in case he has seen someone else's cat being put into a van.

- Thanks again everyone
I've had 2 calls tonight one from a school kid who was just out to upset me and told me he just seen a man putting him into a van !!! That would never happen as chewie wouldn't go near another person. Got his telephone number just don't know what to do with it. And then the 2nd call was from a lovely lady he thought chewie like lord just like my cat !!! And wanted to check he wasn't moonlighting between us, which I assured her wasn't. We've had him for 5 years
But it was nice to talk to someone who cared. Let's hope for tomorrow and that he is scanned somewhere xxx - 2017-10-03 19:34 Julie - Area Co-ordinator - Surrey & South London

- Thanks everyone for helping. He never leaves the gardens here is very contained. Unfortunately this is the 2nd time round for us but last time was our old boy Jester. But thanks to the power of the press and posters we got him back. This was about 4 years ago so feels a bit like history repeating. At least
this time chewie is chipped Jester wasn't but had very distinctive markings,1 eye and a short tail !!!!
So please any information about our best friend would be great, good or bad. Thanks again for helping

- Early days yet, Check all outbuildings including empty houses and cellars in case shut in, Put some tuna or chicken in his dish, and call him;' night/early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Put his unwashed blanket into a clean container, along with something with your scent on too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden. Try a squeaky toy as it may attract his attention. Walk around the area holding an object with is scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Someone may be feeding him
(Common problem) when darkness falls, and your are searching for him, use a strong torch as it will reflect a cats eyes. Poster around the area, and post flyer through doors too. and ask around. Hope Chewie is home soon. Paws xd, - 2017-10-03 13:15 OliviaS
