Wayne caught the bird in Sainbury's carpark in Northfleet. It was a female goshawk and reunited with owner around 1pm today.
Well done Wayne who knows how to handle and fly such birds so able to catch it.

I've rung a guy that lost a bird of prey beginning of Sept (Essex) and he will enquire further. Also rung Eagle Heights Eynsford DA4 and they don't have any missing birds.

The photo is only to give an idea of the size of this bird and is not a similar photo of the sighted bird. Some one must be missing this bird as must be tame and used to fly hence wearing a jesse.

Sightings are being alerted to Wayne of artisan rare breeds. If any one knows who may own this bird please contact Wayne for updates of sightings.
