- Thank you so much for all your help and advice, we have learnt so much in such a short time. Sasha is enjoying her home comforts again and although she is very tired is remarkably well for her ordeal. There is no feeling in the world like finding your dog again after what had seemed an eternity, you all made that possible and there are no words to express our gratitude that such great people really exist! Again , thank you all from some exhausted but exhilarated dog owners.

- There are posters in the area and we are based in the area where sacha was last seen. Thanks to all the wonderful people who have been out looking over the weekend, it is so very much appreciated. We do have a complication in that the gate to the track is going to be locked today; we were told to basically go and look elsewhere by the landowner...a walk will not deter us though. So far there have been no sightings but we will find her.

- So sorry to see Sasha is missing. Have you managed to put posters up in the area yet? Are there lots of walkers in the area? Hoping she’s found very soon x

- 4 mths old, my goodness. Be aware cockers, sprockers etc tend to go quiet when in trouble rather than make any noise....they will simply tuck in and stay still so locating them can be tricky. You need to try and get a tracker dog..there will be some in Devon..ask for recommendations but k9 search dogs are in okehampton tel 07721 597926 for call outs...and also apply to jenny at k9tracker.co.uk to see what her availability is like with her dogs.

- Thank you everyone for the advice. We have contacted the dog warden, all the vets in the area, north Devon missing dogs, who are also coming to help. and the k-9 search and rescue unit. We have people in the woods looking, and have left trails of our scent, like hoover contents and pee. We are going to cook a small bbq in the woods in the hope that the smell of food will bring her out. My family is frantic and we are so worried. Thank you for all the shares and advice we are praying we find her.

- At this age it may help to take one of her squeaky toys with you, when searching.
