- Sorry guys, never give up hope. This dog is so similar, but has white hind sock to ankle on hind leg (not in photo) & Nick has even markings to both hind feet . Thin stripe on face does not run quite as high as on Nick. Farmer has already replaced with 2 more collies & would have been happy to see Nick settle in a new home. I'd be happy to keep him! But I know how I would feel with a loved pet missing & would want to be contacted & reunited. I will get this doggy microchipped tomorrow as he's a wanderer & at least there will be a contact number for him.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Sat.23/10/04 My friend found Nick at Ashfields near Leigh Sinton & took him to check for microchip. My husband agreed to take him in while searching for his owners. He played with our 2 collies & did not understand way out/come by, seemed uninterested in sheep/ponies/cats,but did sit ( on my lap in the armchair)so we thought he was a pet, possibly with some obedience training. He is a bit thin, but likes to be brushed. Has eaten 3 meals today. After his dinner, not sure if he got his bearings or if something startled him, but he jumped between the ornate gate railings and although I looked for him in the rain with a torch, I'm afraid he is lost again. I will put his poster in Alfrick & Suckley P/O's, afraid unable to leave message on your mobile without a PIN or something. My home number is 01886-884703. Lovely dog, I would have offerred him a home if his family were unlocated. Do hope he finds his way home, but this long after losing him, he must be quite streetwise, so he should be okay.
