- MMM,, if I remember correctly,,when chipped in the first place your given forms to send off to activate with the central control, where they offer an extra find help for ?15.00,,the vet only pops it in there so their job was done -) its up to us as owners to make sure of the correct details, so glad he is home though!!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- This was a complete mess, not only did the pound not bother with the chip, the vet who chipped him did not update with owners details, owner did report him lost to petlog but they didnt let him know his details were not held. Poor bloke thought his details were put out and they werent, I checked the petlog section on KC site and he wasnt on there as missing Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- So pleased he is back home, but upset because I have a lost dog, 5 months, and I believed his chip would bring him back, I wish we could get the law enforced, owner are responsible, and then we must ask ourselves why, if the authorities are so useless.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- so pleased to see this boy is reunited ! From what i have read it looks that yet again a pound has failed to take the correct procedure with a chipped dog !! Something has to be done about this as most owners think if their dog is chipped they will automatically be reunited with them if they are picked up ........... but this has not been the case on many occasions recently. be safe from now on boy xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Sad that owners do the right things & kennel cant. Perhaps if he had collar & tag it would help. At least he's going home.xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
