  • Other Info after 3 weeks we were exhausting our options, we'd been concentrating on the same area where we'd had a photo taken that looked v similar. I by luck postered near a possible but unconfirmed sighting. Don't disregard any sighting, follow them up! A lady saw my poster today and he had been visiting for A few days. He's very skinny but he's home. We never would've extended the parameters of the posters without that one call, even though we'd had over 10 pointing us in ano

Wonderful news, It could be that Baloo was chased out of his territory by another cat., and became disorientated. As he is thin could not have been fed much I wouldn`t have thought. Stay close now Baloo. I would keep him in for at least a week or 10 days.Stay close now Baloo:-)xxxLast edited: 2017-10-26 08:11:28

Wouldn't be surprised if lovely Baloo had hitched a ride in a delivery van the day he went missing. I'm always telling delivery men to shut their doors when they go off to deliver their parcels. Cats get into open vans, get shut in and hop out at the next port of call. Thankfully it was only a few roads away in Baloo's case, if he did get in one, that is! Welcome home, anyhow, Baloo!

I would keep him in for a few days to make sure he knows where home is. Hope he is ok. It is torture while they are away but most cats are found...I am still a bit neurotic about my Nala if I don't see her for a couple of hours and she was only gone three days.

Have you contacted your local cats Protection league branch? They will put the cat on their website.Last edited: 2017-10-25 21:27:00 by nalamissing

Put his unwashed blanket into a clean container, along with something with your scent on too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Wipe his scent on your garden fences gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden; your scent too. Try a squeaky toy as it may attract his attention. Walk around the area, holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. If he has been sighted he is most probably being fed by someone else When it is nightfall and your are searching, use a strong torch as it will reflect a cats eyes. Post flyers through doors too. And ask around. Paws xd.Last edited: 2017-10-10 20:17:07
