- Copying Paddington's story from NTimoney on DL Surrey FB page "The Story of Paddington 💙 As you aware, Paddington was sighted by a gentleman this morning. He was on the track and still in the vicinity of where he had been sighted on Thurs morning. This evening around 6:05pm Emma received a call from one of the residents of Scott Farm Close to say Paddington was watching them eat their dinner from over the fence on the railway bank. The residents went out to investigate but he ran off along the bank side. Emma and Neil went straight over but as he'd already disappeared back towards the Esher direction, they then decided to ask for access to one of the gardens in the neighbouring St Andrews Close and I went out to meet them. Shortly after, Emma received a call from a family in St Andrews Close who had heard barking over the fence on the railway bank. We raced over and into their garden to the gap between the trees and the fencing at the back. We heard him rustling about a few times but at this point hadn't seen him. Neil whistled his special whistle for Paddington and after a few minutes, his gorgeous little white face appeared and he came running towards the fence!! Neil yanked the fence back and pulled up the wire fence behind it from the ground and he was then brought to safety through the gap. The video shows the final part of his rescue (sorry I had to keep the phone light towards the ground as didn't want the light to spook him). He has now been seen by the vet and Emma says he is fine apart from a lacerated ear that had fly eggs in it. But that’s all cleaned up and he has had antibiotics. Emma and Neil have to take him to the vets tomorrow to check the bandage etc and he may need the end of his ear removed but will know more tomorrow. Thank you to everyone for your unrelenting support. I'm sure everyone will get a great night's sleep, Especially Emma, Neil and the gorgeous Paddington xxx"

- Crossposting from NTimoney on Dog Lost Surrey FB page "Hi everyone. Just got back. Myself, Emma, Neal Cuddy, Judy Gibbons Daphne and Susie have been out since this morning. As a team, we have searched every nook and cranny and everything else we can think of along the tracks where this mornings sighting was confirmed around the Windmill Lane area, spoken to the lovely gentleman who lives there to get a view from his garden and then back to the junction Padds was seen on Thursday. We then walked along the roads that run along the tracks through to Surbiton. Leaflets have been dropped and more posters have been placed. We've spoken to locals and checked along the garages that run along the railway lines. Basically pretty much everything possible has been covered. Scent towels have been placed at relevant points on the route too. We caught up with Mike from Network Rail who walked the track armed with chicken. Sadly no further sightings reported by Mike as yet. A BBQ at this stage would be too risky in case he crosses the tracks. It seems v likely that he is trying to find a route out from the tracks in this area and has pretty much tracked back to where he originally escaped. Along the route I have taken advice from both Chris Bedell and Paula Kelly on best possible course of action. It would appear that in order to stay safe, he probably now has a hidy hole and may be sleeping in the daytime which is not unusual for a dog that is in survival mode. We will do whatever it takes and will and have covered everything that is possible. Thanks for all your support x"

- More on the Leatherhead sighting - please bear in mind this may not be Paddington:
I was running up the Leatherhead bypass approaching the roundabout on the A24/A243 when he ran over the road from the Ashtead side crossed both lanes and then headed towards Leatherhead itself. I remember thinking he looked like he had run off but there wasn’t much I could do. Couldn’t see a collar too far away. Was about 930am Friday 13th
I have double checked with Nicholas that it was the roundabout near Downsend that he saw the dog: I was running towards Leatherhead. Downsend on my left and leatherhead on my right. Dog was heading down towards St Johns.Last edited: 2017-10-14 11:54:11 by csquaredb - 2017-10-14 10:44 Joolz
- Can Drone SAR for Lost Dogs help at all?xx

- I don't want to detract from the main area of focus, but a similar dog was seen today on the A243/A24 roundabout heading into Leatherhead. I'm trying to find out more info from the sighter. I've spoken to his owner about it. If anyone is local to Leatherhead/Ashtead, please spread the word on the off chance it could be him. It's unlikely, but stranger things have happened in the past. His owners have just moved to Ashtead and although he hasn't been to the house he has been walked at Downsend, which is near where the sighting was xLast edited: 2017-10-14 11:41:46 by csquaredb

- The kind gentleman from Network Rail walked the tracks this morning and unfortunately there was no sign of Paddington - people are working very hard walking the roads in the area and putting up posters including postering houses that back onto the railway in case he is hiding in any of the gardens along there.

- There is a comment on his dog,it's Surrey thread that he was hit by a train at surbiton yesterday, but then seen running around the tracks at Hampton court....

- From NTimoney on Dog Lost Surrey FB page "UPDATE: Morning sadly no news of him as yet however just to update you all that Paddington's owner Emma has spoken to SW/Network Rail. The kind gentleman (RW engineer/signaller) who recently found another local dog safe on the track will be taking a walk along the area of the tracks Paddington was last seen and beyond. Emma also retraced his last known movements in the area and also took a train from Surbiton to Esher early this morning to see if she was able to see anything but unfortunately it was too dark. We will update when and if we have further info"

- His bed will be placed at the house where he went missing and his towel will be put over the gate he was seen going through at Surbiton Station Car Park (rear car park)

- Thank you Battersea Dogs Home.
My dog walker also saw Paddington at 9:55am running down Sugden Road and into the Hockey Club (Cheeky Monkeys) She was behind another van with hazard lights on who was obviously trying to help.
Seems like his possible route given the timing of the various sightings could be as follows:
Severn Drive/Manor Road North/Sugden Road/St Mary's/Lovelace Road/Lower Sand Hills/Beechwood Close/Lovelace Road/crossed A243/Walpole Road/Glenbuck Road and into back of Surbiton Stn Car Park.
