- Please join and check out harlow bargains Facebook group. A little dog has been picked up like this found straying. Mavis may have been stolen and now dumped in the harlow area. The dog has some whisky wire hairs but we have a dachshund cross who had smooth coat like Mavis and as she matured she has the wispy wire hair to.

- Mavis is still missing & there have been no sightings. It is hoped she will have wriggled free if down a hole & could still be in area, albeit keeping a low profile.
I am told by owner that this is still a working area & so permission hs to be sought for ground searches/drone search ( which are both possible). Awaiting further info when owner has spoken to site manager - 2017-10-16 14:32 Max - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
- Doglover, yes, I did say earlier in post, that this is what has probably happened & have advised owner accordingly. She was hoping yesterday to get some help in cutting some undergrowth back ( thick gorse/brambles etc), but it is a very large area, approx 6 acres, so suggested start where dog went in. Will make contact tonight to check on progress.

- Details already shared to DogLost Cornwall fb page. Advice given to owner.
Mavis ran off with her siblings on a walk & they ran into thick undergrowth, probably after rabbits, the others came out but Mavis didn't.
Owner is getting help on Sunday to cut a lot of the gorse back in the area in hope that she can be located. - 2017-10-13 18:42
