- Lucy's poster was displayed at Basildon?s Doggy Day Out at Northlands Park yesterday which I attended. Lots of people viewed the posters and will spread the word. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Thanks for your vigilance. Sadly the one the Dog Warden had was not Lucy but had already been re-united with its owner - which is always good news. Still praying for a miracle. : (Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Yes I've just read that Pippin's owner has visited the kennels, Jotty. I had high hopes that this was Lucy.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Thanks to all of you out there helping. I did phone Tree Tops just in case. But in my heart I suspect dear little Lucy has gone down a rabbit hole and either got stuck or met up with a badger or fox. She's won these battles in the past but maybe her luck just ran out. We'll just have to keep our fingers crossed. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Thanks dogs4eva. The owner of another Border Terrier missing on here (Pippen) has been to Tree Top kennels regarding the found Border Terrier there and has confirmed it is not a Border Terrier, possibly a Jack Russel type.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Lucy went missing from her owners farm. She is known in the area (very rural) and no locals have seen her since she went missing. Owner has contacted local police, Braintree DW and the RSPCA Danaher centre local to them (think this is the one Corbiere refers to). Advised owner on postering, contacting vets etc. I will email out Lucy's poster to our Essex contact list later this evening. It was Merlin's story on BBC4 Radio that inspired the owner to register with Doglost!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I'm currently in the Netherlands so can't be much help, but I do know Great Bardfield a bit... There is a small commercial site in what used to be a farm yard behind the church, there are several small companies there like designers and publishers, would be a good place to distribute posters. Will be home later in the week, will check on Lucy then. There is big Rescue Home for dogs not far from the village, on that back road btwn Sible Headingham and Bocking, presume the owners have kept checking there? Can't remember if it's RSPCA or a branch of Wood GreenLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Just tried calling owners to find out what they have done so far as Lucy has been missing for a few weeks already and whether they have had any sightings etc but currently not there. Will call back later and then update.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
