- What is the first number in the postcode after TN15? TN15 covers quite a large area.

- We located him last night! Spent hours calling him etc knowing he was in the woods the either side of the fence but no joy. He is in total panic mode and won't come when called. Have borrowed a trap from RAIN, nothing yet but going in the right direction. He was about to eat the Fox food when I went there this morning but he ran off. Trap has been down about two and a half hours, with his favourite fish and all Fox food removed. Left his carrier with his blanket in the garden that he had been spotted in yesterday, but he hasn't been in it, although was seen sniffing it.

- Is there a dominant cat in the area,? because sometimes they will chase a cat out of it`s own territory. However the cat usually returns within a few days. If someone thinks they have seen him, you could borrow a cat trap from Ct Protection, and place it where he MAY have been seen. Place something with his scent on inside the trap; your scent too. Some cat owners have worn the same deodorant, as they use on a day to day basis when searching, and said it helped bring their cat home because they recognized the scent I haven`t tried it myself I would also post a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper in case he has climbed into a vehicle. Paws xd for his safe return There is a site called Catchat which give tips too on how to find a lost cat. Google Catchat Lost cats
It at be that he is being fed by someone else. Just because you cant see a cat doesn`t mean they aren`t around. My neigbours neutered male cat once went missing for a good two weeks. After postering, and putting flyers through doors, he was found quite close to his own home being fed by someone else, You never knowLast edited: 2017-10-18 19:48:21 - 2017-10-18 12:32 Claire
- Thank you for your comment. I have tried all of those things. I leave my door open all the time, even til 1am most days. I have his things, including his litter tray out, but he still hasn't come back. There have been a couple of possible sightings but people are confusing him with cats that look nothing like him as well. All my neighbour's have a picture of him and I've put posters up.

- When indoor cats escape they usually hide close by as a rule, and feel very scared, and panicky So check, all outbuildings including empty houses, and cellars, and make sure he isn`t hiding behind an object within Cats are excellent at keeping still, and quiet, especially if timid. Indoor cats don`t like to be out of their comfort zone normally which is indoors with people they trust; their owners. A door he has access too open wide, and stand aside (Don`t block his entrance) Put some tuna or chicken in his dish, and place the width of the open door. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden. Also empty contents of the vacuum on to the garden as his scent will be there. Put his unwashed blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Take a walk around the area, holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dreamies Someone may be feeding him. When darkness falls, and your are searching use a strong torch as it will reflect a cats eyes. Try a squeaky toy as it may attract his attention. Poster around the area, and post flyer through doors too And ask around Paws xd.Last edited: 2017-10-18 12:13:26
