The police who own dogs are right behind us I assure you. The police's priorities are not set by themselves but by the powers that be-when we get bigger as we are daily then they may listen to us. so keep the anger in and recruit recruit recruit-the more members we have the more voice we have, and we will use it-rest assured!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Absolutely fantastic. I also had to do my own dirty work as the police couldn't be bothered. Well done for pursuing this. (Don't policemen and women own dogs, don't they understand about how much people love their animals for God's sake!!!! Is there any change in their attitudes happening???)Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

It really makes my blood boil to think that these people can get away with stealing another persons much loved pet and just be let off with a caution....... but if one of our OAP's can't afford to pay their countil tax, then it's prision!!!! Where are our priorities these days, no wonder scum bags don't think twice about stealing a dog, they know nine times out of ten they'll get away with it. Glad to see start reunited again. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

thank God for Supergran when we have such a truly pathetic and lazy police force. Complain, get the press on it. And give that little boy some hugs from me. Send a bull round to that chinashopLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Super Gran please make an official complaint to whoever is in charge at the police station, written is best, they have to reply officially and if you do not get a full and proper explanation for the remarks that have been made about it just being a dog and those people getting a ticking off instead of being prosecuted then it needs to go right up to the chief of police. When did you last hear any of them saying about a stolen car "oh it's just a car we won't prosecute"? If we all make enough fuss enough times maybe, just maybe they'll start getting the message that we are just not going to settle for less. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I feel so bad that I missed this one when it was first on here as I have been so tied up recently. Granny did exactly what I would have done if it had been my dog, why do the police give people time to produce stolen goods and thus give them time to move them elsewhere? The attitude that its only a dog is ridiculous taking into account how much pedigree dogs cost nowadays apart from the heartache caused to their loving owners.. I am just so pleased that Stars owners have got her back safely . Well done!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So very pleased to hear that Star has finally been reunited with her family. She does look such a little sweetie. And, as for Supergran, I can only reiterate what everyone else has said, WELL DONE and yes the world is a richer place for having you and no-nonsense people like you around when things go wrong. I think every DL area should have their very own Supergran. I'm sure it's already on the cards, but can this very precious little girl have a chip AND an ID tag on her collar asap. Welcome home Star and a HUGE hug for 'our very own' and wonderful Supergran!!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Brilliant new - but what action are the police taking against these quite definite thieves? If not taking action, then surely a good article in the local press about the whole sorry story, the actions of the local shop owning thieves in their silver, personal number plate and supergran, the area should fit the crime. My husband says perhaps anyone in the area should picket the shop and hand out leaflets!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Super gran decided she wanted the dog back immediately so found out they had a cutlery and china shop and turned up there threatening not to leave and to break everything so they called the police who turned up to be greeted yet again today by super gran ( 3 times in one day and even Pembroke police give up) 15 minutes later and they turned up with Star. Super gran bursts into tears and they said "gsh you are quite a softie underneath" LOL! Way to go Supergran! 6 very happy grandchildren!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just to add, it takes seconds to PNC a car, BUT do not think police will give out this address, suggest you go to police station in PERSON and explain, the law states that FOUND dogs MUST be reported, otherwise it is theft, suggest you gently remind them of this, and suggest someone calls at the address for you...good luckLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Come home soon little Star. Might it be worth the owners calling Sylvia at Many Tears Rescue? Cwmloggin isn't THAT far from Pembroke Dock and there are quite a few puppy farms in the area. Have spoken to owner, there isnt a better picture unfortunately, told the owner how important it is to get some posters out, there are none at the moment, they do have some photos on a mobile phone, but cant find the phone but they will send through if they find it. Owner thinks star was stolen, told her to put up posters in vets, library, schools, petshops, taxis, etc etc, she did see what she thought was star with a lady the other night, and she made the person with the dog take her to her house so she could see her in the light, but it wasnt Star, the other people were not well pleased. Broadland kennels have had Star mentioned on radio pembroke, and they will keep her on there until she is found.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
