I have spoken with Murphy's family today. Their feeling is that he has got lost & may still be in the area, after flyering locally there was a possible sighting reported on Tuesday afternoon/Wednesday and also a separate report of a dog howling in a nearby field. The family are postering, scenting & carrying out a thorough ground search in the area & have been offered support by Drone SAR. There is a shoot in the area today & it is hoped that with the other gun dogs around this may locate him. The family are not ruling out the possibility that Murphy could have been picked up & are trying to spread his details far & wide for this purpose but for now the most of the efforts are focused locally x
