there are many questions to be answered, I DO Hope they will be asked & truthfully answered, so that this situation can never happen again .
Hamak 's new 'owner' is, thankfully, a very caring & Honest person, I wonder how many other Missing Dogs are in new homes, not having their 'chips double checked ?

- I am extremely happy at the outcome of this dog and we must remember the family that adopted Hamak last year and how wonderful of them to let him go home. However i must state that comments made on his FB page that Doglost dumped them is not correct.
Hamak was listed on doglost 10 days after missing and contact was made to owner in french to register with petlog. The microchip was easily found on euro data base where it showed was reported as missing. I have an email dated 18/12 from contact@i-cad.fr confirming that no contact was made from anyone in the UK concerning this dog.
I reported this back to owner and since Hamak had been re-homed after 7 days I suggested writing to the kennels asking they forward a letter to the new owner, maybe to seek further advise from Trevor Cooper as now not technically a lost or found dog as he had been re-homed.
Its a shame took so long and credit to Katie for all her work in finding the owners and making this a very happy ending. - 2018-03-13 08:47 Poochpal - Regional Co-ordinator - South West - Police Liaison Team

- I have given details to a lady fluent in speaking French as feel the owner is not fully understanding what needs to be done.Lets hope this will help and get this dog recorded with Petlog as well as being on eurobase.
