Mrs london
There is a male springer on the dogs found pages of doglost. Found in southeast but may have been picked up and dumped. Worth checking. Liver and white-there is a photo.
Mrs london
Still no news? If you want me to put up posters in helmsley (at he garage and ships and car parks etc) let me know. Poor Theo.... And poor you.
ClaireG
Thank you I have checked Wakefield dogs and that dog is a female
ClaireG
Thank you mrs London for your offer of help, the sighting of the spaniel in Pickering was a female dog, we have put a poster in the garage just in case he has roamed that far
Mrs london
Have you postered the area in Pickering where the possible sighting was? Do you need help delivering flyers etc....? I see my friend mrs o(who has experience in these lost dog searches) has offered too.... do contact us if we can help. X
mazholenk

Possible sighting of theo on 2 November in Pickering.
Theo lived in pickering for a while as a puppy and could well have made the small journey there in the period of time hes been missing
ClaireG
Thank you Mrs O for sharing on your Facebook page
Mrs O
ClaireG is the owner on Facebook, are you on Facebook? I have shared to my personal page and also rescue page. If you would like any input please get in touch with me via this page: https://www.facebook.com/invisibledogs/
If he is a working dog and he is lost he might be attracted by shots and find his way to a shooting party.
Mrs O
I will post this to my rescue page and appeal for volunteers, have you got flyers to deliver to surrounding farms and villages? is your local gamekeeper on board, you will be quite near to the shoot at Welburn are you?Last edited: 2017-11-03 16:04:44 by Mrs O
Mrs london
Suggest a Facebook page for Theo too. X
Mrs london
Worth getting the word out to local hotels etc that will be accommodating shooting parties...... spaniels everywhere at the moment so the beaters etc should be made aware of Theo. Are there badger setts around and fox dens? A friend who lost her dog got in touch with guys connected with local hunts who used ferrets to go down holes to retrieve terriers that may be stuck -she said they were keen to help. You can contact her on the Facebook page for Angel’s Kiss. She was so touched by offers of help and support she started a dog rescue in memory of her Norfolk terrier. X

Thank you Sharon for sharing on all the social media sites
ClaireG
Thank you mrs London for your offer of help. Thank you for your suggestions too, we have been out at night to shout for him and nothing, he has ran of before and always come back home after a few hours, which makes me think that someone has picked him up or that he is stuck somewhere. So frustrating not knowing where he is.
Mrs london
You must be frantic. Let me know if I can help by putting up posters etc or delivering flyers in the area...... speed is of the essence at Nunnington Hall as hey are only open weekends after this weekend so not as many people about . Worth going out at night and calling them listening in case he is stuck and barking...easier to hear at night. Lots of dog lovers in the area-am sure hey would all join an organised search if you had one. Do you have a Facebook page? Reaches more people as shares can spread the word. Feel for you...x

I have shared with DL FB Page, Twitter & Public. I hope that Theo is safely back at home soon.X

We have been out searching for him, unfortunately the area where we live is so vast he could be anywhere. He can run across three fields before we got across one. Our neighbor has also been out on her horse covering a wide area, calling and whistling for him but nothing. On foot we have covered all the usual areas he would, again calling and whistling to see if we can hear him, but nothing. The game keepers and farmers in the area are also aware he is missing.

Thank you mrs London, his owner was getting some posters printed out so ill mention to her about getting some put up in them places thanks. Im not sure if shes receiving notifications about these messages coming through on here too so ill mention that aswell, i do keep checking on here though for any news :) were really hoping to get him back, the children are so upset hes gone x
Mrs london
Thanks Reptilegirl0..... I work at Nunnington Hall-definitely with getting some posters to hen if you can as lots of volunteers live in the area. I’m not in again for a while and don’t have access to a printer but maybe someone could drop them off there? Also the pub at Nunnington....and maybe Thte Star at Harome and The Pheasant Hotel...although you’ve probably done hat already. If you can get some posters run off for me I’m happy to put up in Helmsley. Hope you find him ok....he must be very frightened. I know of a spaniel that went missing in Yearsley Woods for nearly two weeks and was found so fingers crossed. X

Mrs london im one of theos family members who have been appealing for him on facebook.....he was in the field opposite his house when he saw a bird and ran off. Its all wooded areas and farmers fields surrounding where he went missing. Were awaiting someone getting back to me regarding getting a drone out in the area to look for him. Theyve left things outside with scents on xLast edited: 2017-11-02 07:39:04 by Reptilegirl0

Mrs london
Is East Neas near Nunnington?
Mrs london
Shared FB..... can we have more details of where lost please? In woodland/fields/farmland/public footpaths? Have you tried leaving your clothing at the site where lost and a portable bbq on which you can cook sausages? Theo may be moving around the area at night so it’s a good time to go out and listen. Could he be in a badger sett or similar in the area? Tried dog tracker K9? How about a search party -am sure lots of a dig lovers would help. X

Sorry to see that THEO is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (121516)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
