The dog flagged by Amanda on post below has, as best I can tell, identical markings to Ace. Please check he does need to be home. I have tried ringing but getting number not available.

I live in Barnes and while there are posters up they need renewing, many have lost all the vital info due to getting soaked in the rain. I hope this little guy is found safe and quickly.

Debby you can send the photo to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the ID number will help. There is a new email for photos but I can’t see it just now but Admin one should be OK. This dog was stolen from Barnes, he is a male called Ace. He was seen in Bushy Park yesterday at 11:30 so please keep and eye out and report any sightings to the park police or this chat group. The van pictured is what they used to take him in and they could be traveling around to other parks. They were seen treating Ace badly so please report any sightings. The description of the men are; Two white Males, one tall with brown hair and brown glasses and the other is shorter average build.

I saw on another animal missing page and it looked as if the info came from the owner, that two men had put Ace in a car, it would be good if owner could let us know if this is the case. If so you could report as stolen to the police, then give the crime reference to Doglost. It may also be worth extending the postcode area to Hammersmith W6 as you are very near there and maybe even as far as W12 but depends which way the car was heading. Have you contacted the RSPCA hospital in Putney? I have known people take dogs there when found.
