Great news :) Welcome home Maverick.x

Maverick was found in an area of fields which had previously been searched several times. He still had his coat on, which was torn & muddy, so looks like he could have been stuck somewhere & managed to get free. Apart from a few ticks & being a little underweight he is fine :)
His owner is over the moon & thanks everyone who helped by sharing/searching etc.
Welcome home Maverick xx

Froma Sarah, a helper.......We've suspended the search for today but covered a lot of ground. Jane has already carried out a well organised leaflet drop and poster campaign. We completed it this morning and searched along the local bridle path as well as the fields and shrubland it leads to. We also took a slow drive along the surrounding country lanes in case he'd been involved in an accident. Since there have been no sightings of Maverick I think we're all of the opinion he has either been taken or he's shut in a garage or shed somewhere. I have advised Jane to ask for more leaflets and posters to say he is still missing and specifically asking for people to search garages, sheds and other outbuildings. She's also going to extend the poster campaign to the nearby villages that back onto the open fields just in case. All local schools and community groups have also been informed. Sorry there doesn't be any more we can do at the moment

There is someone helping owner search today. There is a large section of open land with trees/shrubbery/undergrowth etc. If a drone is able, they may be able to fly & check it out, but today it is apparently too windy.

Can some local registered helpers please help on the ground. I sent general advice to Jane Sampson on 7th Nov but i am unavailable to help on the ground sadly.

Alisa, please contact Sam Farlap ( Bloodhounds ) K9 Search Dogs. She may be able to help, but she does need a recent sighting/scent, but she may be useful if you do get one, to have her on standby.

Poochpal, I have just spoken to owner, there have been no sightings at all since he went missing. Have advised further re posters & checking/postering further afield too.
I understand Jane, Alisa's mum has been in touch with drone group, but it is a built up area & unless any recent sightings anywhere, they will be at a loss where to start a search. ( there are some open spaces around ).
Have suggested checking hedges/fences in case he is caught up somewhere by his jumper.
