- Comments under DL poster I shared, Ben, Pooty's owner is making his way there ......"I really hate to write this, but have just travelled south on the A3 between Compton and Milford and there was a little dead creature on the side of the road. Because of all the rain it was difficult to identify, but the colours were similar to this little dog’s. Sorry I couldn’t stop as traffic was fast and pretty solid. I do hope it wasn’t someone’s pet."

- More from OP re possible river sighting: it was dark so they could only describe the sound of it splashing around. I think they assumed it went to the opposite bank behind the chiropractor. It could have gone down river though.

A couple saw a dog jump into the river - 2017-11-04 05:48 Jayne - Founder Doglost.

- Ben, please upload a pic as soon as you can, so then Pooty's page can be shared around - email alerts can't go out till there's a photo. We have her already on Doglost Surrey as someone shared some info about her being missing from the Godalming Community page. Please contact your local dog warden as they may have picked her up already. It's quite late so it's possible someone may have her safe and will take her to a vets to be chip checked in the morning. She may try and get home so make sure she can get in of she does.
