- So very sad. And unacceptable that the council add to the distress by being so unhelpful. My heart goes out to you. RIP lovely Rubble. xx

- Ohhh, I am so Very Very Sorry to read about Rubble :( x
My Thoughts are with His Family who must be Heartbroken & Distraught
&, I imagine, very angry that they were 'given the runaround' by Local Authorities :(
I thought that it IS the LAW these days for Local Authorities to have to Scan, Log & Photo ALL deceased pets Found on the Highways ?
I imagine that Vets Get Scanning Group are aware of this Tragic Situation ?
RIP Sweet Boy xx

- I've been given a direct number for the workers who cover the area and have rang them and they are making enquiries to who was working the area an will get back to me asap
Rct have informed me that they are not obliged to scan nor report any animal that is found so therefore they don't ! - 2017-11-07 11:36 Skywalker99
- I would ask the council where they take the bodies to be disposed of, and then contact that place. I am surprised the council do not report and log bodies...many do now, but they have had their budgets cut so much.
