RIP CROSSBREED, I feel that he did not want to put you through any pain in watching him die so he took himself off but you have had him for a good many years and look after him and he knew this, so he was trying to look after your feelings. remember the good times you had together. and that you was able to find him and lay him to rest. By the edge of a wood at the foot of the hill, Is a lush green meadow where time stands still, Where friends of a man and woman do run, when their time on earth is over and done, For here between this world and the next , Is a place where each beloved creature find's rest ! On this golden land they wait and play till Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day. No more do they suffer in pain or sadness for here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness!!!! Their limbs are restored their health renewed their bodies have healed strength imbuled !!!! They run through the grass without even a care, untill one day they Stop and sniff the air !!! All ears pricked forward, eyes dart side to side, Then all of a sudden one breaks from the pack ! For just that instant their eyes have met Together again person and pet, So they run to each other these friends from long past, The time of their parting is over at last !! The sadness they felt whilie they were apart has turned into Joy once more in each heart, They embrace with a love that will last forever and side by side they cross over together !!

Have just got back from looking for nearly two hours,no sign of him yet .There are lots of fields,farmland and hedgerows around the area .Once we have posters then hopefully los more people will be looking out for him .Stay safe Shadow .

Owner as soon as you can get smaller posters and put in your neighbors doors asking them to check gardens and garages and under busies anywhere he could get into, hope this boy is found soon.

Collieboys - have just spoken to owner. It seems someone collecting a parcel left the gate open - owner unsure what happened next. They live in Upper Anstey Lane. Dog is medium size, short black hair with a white bib, from Battersea Dogs Home and approx 19 yrs old. Can't get there today but will have a look round tomorrow. Any chance you/someone you know can go and look up there?
