By the edge of a wood at the foot of the hill, Is a lush green meadow where time stands still, Where friends of a man and woman do run, when their time on earth is over and done, For here between this world and the next , Is a place where each beloved creature find's rest ! All ears pricked forward, eyes dart side to side, Then all of a sudden one breaks from the pack ! For just that instant their eyes have met Together again person and pet, So they run to each other these friends from long past, The time of their parting is over at last !! The sadness they felt whilie they were apart has turned into Joy once more in each heart, They embrace with a love that will last forever and side by side they cross over together !!

Very sad new - Cery just rang to tell me that Domino has been killed in RTA. His body has just been found by Environmental Health people. Run free over the Bridge sweet Domino.

I live at Hirwaun which is only about 2 miles from Penywaun and am very familiar with the local area. Apart from the main roads, the housing estate at Penywaun is connected with Hirwaun, Llwydcoed and Aberdare via an old but very accessible tram road. I will check out some possible locations tomorrow as light is already failing under the adverse weather conditions.

Cery took a mobile phone pic of one of the photos and sent it to me. My phone doesn't do pics so it landed on the O2 site, from where I picked it up and emailed it to admin.

No one in the family has internet access. Photos do exist, but we need to get one scanned and sent to you. My friend Cery is staying with Domino's family today, she is out at the moment but I will send her a text asking if she can bring a photo when she returns to her own home which isn't far from me. Then I can collect it and get it scanned and mailed to admin. Best I can do today I'm afraid, unless we have a helper in Aberdare who can scan and mail it.

Domino belongs to a friend of a friend. DW, police and vets were notified right away. I'm too far away to help out on the ground, but will be getting updates from my friend who unfortunately has no computer access. Will check and see if owners are on net, if so will ask them to register so they can post on thread.

Domino is predominantly white with black over eyes and ears, white muzzle, two black dots on either side at the back. Has a shorter tail than normal approx 1/2 tail. 26" high, smooth short coat. Domino is definitely not street/road wise. Owner can be directly contacted on 01685 814046
