Yes, we know about the Lost your pet one, I have spoken to owners today and because the ad was placed on May 2006, the owners will now be writing to the finder for more information.

Zack has a longish undercoat, so he could easily be mistaken for a long coat to someone who doesnt know the breed.

Lets hope they havnt rehomed him, the advert on lostyourpet was back in may 2006, and it also says he is a long haired german shepherd, lets hope the finder knows nothing about gsd's and its actually a short coat. Fingers crossed xxxxx

Well done to the helper-please get in touch with us-this site would not work without you lot checking found dogs as they appear on the internet and cross checking with doglost missing dogs. Thank you for alerting the owner-the description is perfect down to the bump on the head and his fear of hoovers-which is how Zack got the bump on his head(a hoover fell on him!) since then he has hated them. Owner always suspected he was in Manchester-very excited owner-very excited doglost team-could this be our longest ever reunited dog coming home? Watch this space!

Call from owner to say there is an ad on lostyourpet.net site showing a male GSD with very similar description to Zack and the best thing is the advertiser is stating that the dogs name is Zack too. Believed to be in the Manchester area. Owner has tried emailing the advertiser but no reply as of yet.

Possible match on Zack at Sunnyside Kennels Wolverhampton. Dog described as GSD Male Black and Tan Long Haired. Large size 4-5yrs approx. No Collar. Picked up in Walsall yesterday 07.06.04. Please contact Sunnyside Kennels on 01902 790618
