- Where Found Found on the Middlewich Branch of the Shropshire Union Canal by the Clive Green Lane Bridge. The dog was a small black Labrador, possibly a cross but couldn't tell.

- Other Info Comment from finder.Comment from Finder... I found it in the canal by the Clive Green Lane bridge. I pulled the dog out and towelled it down, it was shivering and looked like it had been in the water a while. I borrowed a towel of a narrow boater and we tried to give it some food. It then dived into the hedge, which is when I took the photo. I tried to get it out but it went under the hedge and into the field. By the time I went round to the field it had gone.
